Awal Karir

Park Min Young adalah artis Korea Selatan (Korsel), yang merupakan jebolan Management Company SidusHQ. Dia pertama kali terjun ke dunia hiburan sejak tahun 2006.

Awalnya, karirnya dimulai saat dirinya jadi model perusahaan penerbangan Korean Air. Paras cantik yang dimilikinya memberi modal untuk terjun ke dunia akting.

Min Young pertama kali mencoba kemampuan aktingnya di sitkom 'Unstoppable High Kick' (2006), dengan memerankan tokoh Kang Yoo Mi. Aktingnya yang menawan di sitkom tersebut, membawanya sebagai peraih penghargaan 'Best New Actress Award 2007' di acara 'MBC Drama Awards'.

Berkat aktingnya yang bagus, Min Young kemudian ditawari bermain dalam sebuah serial drama bergenre komedi romantis 'I Am Sam' (2007).

Di serial tersebut, dia memerankan tokoh utama wanita Yoo Eun Byul yang menggemaskan. Berkat film ini, lagi-lagi ia berhasil memabawa pulang piala penghargaan kategori 'Best New Actress Award', dalam acara 'KBS Drama Awards 2007'.

Wanita berzodiak Pisces ini, kerap tampil sebagai bintang iklan, model majalah dan model video klip. Dia juga menjadi model single Big Bang yang berjudul 'Haru-Haru' (2008).

Hubungan Asmara

Park Min Young digosipkan punya hubungan asmara dengan Lee Min Ho, lawan mainnya sendiri di serial 'City Hunter'. Mereka pun akhirnya mengakui kedekatannya. Namun di awal tahun 2012, mereka berdua sepakat mengakhiri hubungan itu. Di tahun 2018-2021, dia mengikuti acara varietas Busted! Member Netflix Musim 1 - 3

Kendati di asmara dia kurang beruntung. Namun di karirnya, dia mendapat julukan sebagai ratu romcom, karena langganan mendapatkan peran di drama Korea bergenre komedi romantis, sebut saja drama 'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim' (2018) dan 'Her Private Life' (2019). Bahkan drama 'Cruel Story of Office' yang dikabarkan akan tayang tahun 2022 juga bergenre sama.
