Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Following the unquestionably catastrophic series of terror attacks wrecking havoc in the capital city of France, the U.K has decided to accept France’s request of its involvement in the U.S-led coalition which is established to bring the extremist group into demise.

President Obama happily greeted the U.K’s entrance into the coalition and said that the British is to be integrated "into our coalition air tasking orders as quickly as possible", as cited in Washington Examiner.

Following such decision was the immediate deployment of British fighter jets into Syrian region.

According to the British defense Secretary, four RAF Tornados were dispatched from Akrotiri air base located in Cyprus, with the primary target set to be the Omar oilfield in eastern Syria.

"Mainstay of Daesh's [the Islamic State's] financial income. The Omar oilfield is one of the largest and most important to Daesh's financial operations, and represents over 10 percent of their potential income from oil,” he stated to BBC as cited in Middle East Eye.

As stated in the Dailymail, U.K’s Prime Minister David Cameron reminded his nation early yesterday that "we are going to need to be patient and persistent. It is difficult what we are asking our pilots to do, our thoughts should be with them and their families."
