Father Who Brutally Killed Daughter Received Death Penalty in Depok

Liputan6.com, Depok - A man who killed his own daughter was sentenced to death by the Depok court. He also severely abused his own wife.

The judge in Depok, Ahmad Adib, said that Rizky Noviandy Ahmad (31) has been proven guilty of creating the plan to kill his young daughter.

The tragedy happened in November 2022 after Rizky was quarreling his wife. First, they argued about their home loan. Rizky then left the house and visited the mosque for morning prayer, but when he came back home, his wife was packing her stuff.

Depok police said the couple were arguing again after the wife asked for a divorce. The wife told him that their first child would be taken by her, while her husband would get custody of their second child, a 1,5 years old baby.

Rizky then asked his daughter to confirm her mother's words. The girl, who was about to go to school, did not answer.

Her silence angered Rizky. He used a golok blade to kill his daughter. She suffered injuries on her head, neck, eye, and some of her fingers chopped off. The girl lost too much blood and died, while her mother was in critical condition

One eye witness, who lived in the same house, said they saw Rizky running amok. After Rizky left the house, the eyewitness called the neighbors to help the victims.
