Avenged Sevendfold salah satu band heavy metal yang punya nama besar di Indonesia. Lihat saja antusiasme penggemar di Tanah Air dalam konser tunggal band ini pada 25 Mei 2024. 

Diberitakan sebelumnya, Jakarta satu-satunya kota di benua Asia yang dikunjungi pelantun "Dead God" dalam tur konsernya kala itu. 

“Avenged Sevenfold—band metalcore yang dipuji sebagai salah satu band terbaik sepanjang masa—memiliki penggemar terbesar di Asia dan Indonesia,” begitu pernyataan dalam situs a7xjakarta.com.

Di panggung konser yang dihelat di Stadion Madya Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, M. Shadows dkk membawakan lagu-lagu hit mereka termasuk "A Little Piece Of Heaven." Lagu ini terangkum dalam album keempat mereka yang dirilis pada 2007.

Meski tak dirilis sebagai single, "A Little Piece Of Heaven" salah satu lagu terpopuler Avenged Sevenfold atau A7X. Desember tahun yang sama, Avenged Sevenfold merilis videoklip lagu ini dengan sebuah video animasi. 

Dilansir dari Louder, lagu ini salah satu karya drummer Avenged Sevenfold, atau The Rev. "Itu perwujudan dari kejeniusan Jimmy," kata gitaris Synyster Gates.

Ia menambahkan, "Dia selalu memikirkan bagian-bagian itu dan dia selalu memainkannya lewat piano. Setiap kali ada piano, dia selalu memainkannya dan hasilnya selalu orisinal."

Synyster mengingat, The Rev benar-benar menikmati chorus yang ia ciptakan, dan ingin menyelesaikan lagunya. "Jimmy bukan orang yang butuh pujian, tapi dia sangat bangga dengan chorus itu," Synyster Gates menyambung.

Pada 28 Desember 2009, The Rev ditemukan tidak sadarkan diri di rumahnya di Huntington Beach. Ia dinyatakan meninggal dunia saat tiba di rumah sakit. Polisi mengesampingkan dugaan tindak pidana dan mencatat kematiannya disebabkan oleh sebab alamiah.
