Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian government's focus is now set to development planning where careful deliberations are highly necessitated. The Indonesian Consultative Assembly (MPR) reportedly received scores of great inputs from a number of public figure as to the execution of such development planning.

"Many intelligent and influential people, starting from university scholars to analyst and experts have exerted a great amount of their time thinking about the existing development planning for this country," Head of RI MPR, Zulkifli Hasan said in Surabaya, East Java, Tuesday 25 August 2015.

According to Zulkifli, the existing layout for development planning is designed only to accommodate short-term aspirations and each planning that has been outlined is inconsistent or unsupportive with one another.

"As for that matter we aim to push, or better yet, advise for the involving government institutions to design or make an outlay of a development planning scheme that covers long-term goals and for it to spur similar kind of development. So it will not remain a populist policy," Zulkifli continued remark.

He takes China as an example as the country successfully shows the world its growing capacity, to commit to long term development agendas and have presented some of the very best results out of careful development such as its infrastructure development. (Akp/Tnt)
