Liputan6.com, Jakarta - People's Consultative Council Deputy, Oesman Sapta Odang said that he profoundly hopes for regeneration to occur as to maintain the continuance and preservation of the nation’s four pillars.

The famous Indonesia's four pillars are viewed to be the underpinning elements which have contributed to the nation's success in achieving independence.

Each pillar presents the nation’s struggle towards reaching emancipation from the subjugation of colonialism and therefore Oesman Sapta feels that the four pillars are highly necessitated as to act as a reminder for the subsequent generation of the sweat, blood and tears that the country has to go through in the past.

He believes that inclusion of four pillars into the fundamentals of academic institution will ultimately spur nationalistic spirits of each individual.

"Regeneration of the national four pillars through continuing reminder and application of each and every one it is our last hope for the subsequent generation. That would be the highly necessitated method of keeping these young generations in love with its country," he shared, Wednesday (30/9/2015).

Not satisfy with sharing his ambition alone, he envisions the conduction of training on teachers of schools in Jakarta where they will be encouraged to pass on knowledge relating to the four pillars to the students, at the academic institution where they profess as teacher.

"Four pillars is not merely a slogan. I really hope that someday teachers of all schools in Jakarta would gather to be trained and be profoundly informed about the importance of four pillars with the hope that the information continues on to the students they teach," he continued. (Akp/Tnt)
