Indonesia Grand Economic Policies to be Announced Wednesday

Economic Coordinating Minister designed policies to spur progress on various sectors.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Darmin Nasution stated that the government economic policies will be issued this mid week. The policy package is said to be released on Wednesday (9/9/2015).

"It is very likely that such policies to be formally announced on this upcoming Wednesday," Minister Darmin said, Monday (7/9/2015).

Minister Darmin said that he has been going through a series of deliberation with other involving ministries to design the national economic policies. They sought to propose these ideas to President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo tommorow.

"We have spent two weeks formulating these grand policies. We will have it explained to President Jokowi tommorow," he informed.

He then further explains how one of the policies he has designed is very effective in spurring the nation's industrial development.

"Our grand policies have a theme, that is to support to industrial development. We have also outlined crucial points in our policies that would benefit othet sectors such as housing, mining, energy, agriculture and many more," he concluded. (Akp/Ein)
