Liputan6.com, Jakarta President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is currently in Japan to meet with a number of influential and prominent businessman. After performing collective courtesy call in front of the businessmen, President Jokowi moved on to the next session of business forum discussion with these individuals.
After his safe arrival on Tuesday (24/3/2015) to the New Otani Hotel Tokyo, President Jokowi was greeted by the Chairman of Japan External Trade Organizarion (Jetro), Hiroyuki Ishige. The hotel has been chosen to be the place to execute the business forum.

On that occasion, President Jokowi also took some time to meet with Japanese businessmen. After collective courtesy call, the Tsuru Ballroom became the location for the next agenda.
President Jokowi will have his lunch served by ‘Keidanren’ or the Japanese Business Federation and the Japanese Head of Department. Approaching evening time, President Jokowi will have a private meeting with a number of businessmen from large- scale companies such as Suzuki, J Power, IHI Corp, JICA, IX NEO and JBIC.
The discussion during the private meeting will be surrounding the reports on Suzuki’s progress and the planning for future investment in Indonesia worth of $1 billion, J Power's electricity power plant implementation in the areas of Central Java, IHI Corp planning reports on ships and machinery industry expansion, follow- up on the bilateral relationship development with JICA, IX Neo planned cooperation with PT. Pertamina to renew the well capacity in East Kalimantan, and the financial planning for a number of infrastructure and energy projects with JBIC.
According to the schedule yielded, President Jokowi will spend 4 days in Japan. He has been in Japan since the 22 of March 2015 and will be heading to another country on the 25 of March 2015. China and Malaysia will be his next destinations until the 29 March 2015. (Akp/Ein)
